Royal Jelly Lotion from Daiso

Bought this to test it out the other time when I was rejoicing over the fact that I didn't have to work on a monday. (previous post is HERE)
Royal Jelly Lotion from Daiso (55ml), $2.

I've been using this lotion for more than two weeks.
There is sure no hatred for it. ;-p

On the 11th March

Yeah, it was that day of the year, I didn't want to celebrate since it's been years since I last  did, yet I didn't want to stay home.
Hence I went out for a casual dinner at Ikea.
(btw, was supposed to visit the zoo in the morning. but didn't. I'm not surprised.)

I managed to finish almost everything.

At Night Safari!
Birthday girl gets in FREE.
Haha. only paid $10 for the tram ride.

Lioele Fresh Sun Screen

Lioele Volume & Curling Mascara

Hey ladies! Here's another cheap deal that I've gotten from Lush Beauty - http://www.secretive.sg/

Lioele - Volume & Curling Mascara at only $8.40.

I think they are selling it cheaper now in some promo weekly thing.
I'm not too sure, didn't want to check & feel the "heartpain"... ahahahaha!

I personally still prefer this type of brush than those lash-comb better.
Though I'm not the typical girly-girls, I still find this bright pink mascara attractive!

Let's try it!

It's in brown.

DIY Facial

It's raining again!
What could be the best thing to do with this kinda weather?

I was getting sleepy, but I didn't want to sleep.
Hence, I decided to do my own mini facial & try out that new Lioele Blackhead Clear Lotion!

I got this Lioele Blackhead Clear 200ml from Lush Beauty at just $9! (Original price: $30)

I will not be rating this product since it's only my first try. Instead I will just share with you(for those who don't know this product) how to use it. ;-)

ElishaCoy Ice Herb Whitening Water Drop

Ice Herb Whitening Water Drop, 20g.

I was so elated when I saw this product selling for $1 on Lush Beauty's site!
So cheap, of cos I must try right?

Anyway, I have a thing for gel/lotion based moisturizers as they not only do their job of hydrating, they do not cause the skin to get too oily.
This product is just like a gel essence.

Upon applying some onto my face, I was greeted by this refreshing smell.
It smells very clean & pure. Haha. I have no idea where I derive this from. But it's really what I feel.

As soon as the gel got in touch with the skin, it seems to turn into water droplets.
Definitely feels like water on the skin.
The only difference is that this "water" actually penetrates & be absorbed.

During the days I just apply this Ice Herb Whitening Water Drop after toning, then my sunscreen/BB cream.
I'll add on another cream moisturizer after this for the night for that extra moisture.

Check out Lush Beauty site at http://www.secretive.sg/ or like them on FB here.

No Monday Blues!

Dressed casual with attitude cos it's monday and I didn't feel blue!
Okie, I know there's no link.

It's just my excuse to wear casual. Something I can never wear to work. On a Monday especially.
Woohoo!
Can I celebrate my freedom some more?!

My current fav cap with bling-bling skulls.
Puffy white top.
Dark navy blue shorts.
Black Star necklace.
Black wristlet with stars and pearls.

Black little rugged boots.
(cant see in photo, but i wore it before. Click previous post here to see)

I'm using Lioele beyond the solution BB cream.
(Will review it after more tries!)

And some sales guy asked her are we malaysians.
hmmm.... does my chinese sounds weird or I simply don't look like singaporean?

Headed to Lurvos at Ion B3.
I think this pink polka ribbon with black feathers looks great on her!
Instantly glam up the outfit!
What do you think?

There's also 1 Daiso outlet at Ion.
Of cos I go browsing there.
There's always so many things different coming up & being sold in the shop, different branches.

Bought my disposable powder puff in 10pieces for my compact powder.
10pcs for $2!
I can use as many as I like!

Came across this Royal Jelly Lotion which I've never seen before.
Once again, I got courageous & bought it to try!

Another secretive parcel awaits!

Dad's Advance Birthday Brunch at Amici Italian Restaurant

Sunday morning.
We all piled into uncle's 8-seater to head down to Holland Village for our brunch
cum Dad's advance birthday treat.

Can see that I was still very tired?
Slept 4 hours and had a long day ahead.

Please don't mind my fat grin as it was hard to capture this, trying to turn my back as best as I could whie the car's moving.

Amici Italian Restaurant at crowded Holland Village.
This is actually the backdoor?
I suppose so cos the other entrance is neater and more spacious.

I sat right in front of this.
And tried to be very careful in case I broke all the bottles.

We had a complimentary bottle of white wine!
Cheers!

The family.

If I'm not wrong, we had a good deal here.
4 main courses entitled us to 2 free main courses.

Calamari!
We weren't really very hungry, hence we didn't order too much.

Crabmeat Aglio Olio. (not the actual name)
The crabmeat were fresh & delicious!
Baby tomatoes to kick off that seafood taste!

Crayfish Linguine.
Sis was loving it!

Lamb shank was "öut of stock". So Dad's were replaced with Lamb Loin. (not found on the menu)
It isn't that bad considering that I am not a mutton lover.

Smoked Salmon & Caviar Linguine.
Mum & Uncle had the same one as me.
Fine for me. The cream sauce was very filling.

Ordered this Ham & Mushroom Tortellini for grandma.
It looked so appetising! So was the taste.

This tiramisu slice was on the house.
For birthday special!

Dad was a lil stunned when the waitress brought the cake from behind him & telling him "Happy Birthday".

After this meal, he was saying he was craving for ba-chor mee. ;-|
Yeah, Dad loves chinese food still.

Falsies that look so natural

Dinner at Raffles. I want to feel comfortable and look natural hence
I put on this complimentary fake lashes from I-lashes.

Here's how it looks like from the side.

The ends are much longer. The lashes thin & soft, thus giving the soft look.

After removing, always remember to cleanse them properly.
I did by using cleansing milk on them & leaving them out to dry on a piece of tissue paper.

The blogshop owner is such a sweetie. All her items are so affordable!
Do check it out!
Add I-lashes on Facebook here.

OPI: Serena Simply Smashing & Black Shatter

I mentioned that I've gotten the set here.

Was totally anticipating to try out the colors.

But I was dismayed. And almost heard my heart shattering.

Biggest toe: Black shatter in fast application + top coat.
Small toes: Black Shatter in slow application w/o top coat.

The black shatter was in a texture so thick that applications have to be
really fast in order to let it "shatter" nicely.

My bottle of black shatter at the 2nd time of use, has already thickened & hardened
around the edge of the opening.
*Remind myself to clean it with polish remover every single time of use. (if I still wanna use it)

Seriously, i think my toes looked like I stepped on shit.

So after photos were taken for your viewing, I removed everything & paint it with only "Simply Smashing".

I quite like this gold shade.
From the bottle, the color doesn't look as flattering on asian skin tones as it is in actual, hence I was surprised it came out in the tone I really like. ;-)

Daiso: Q10 Toner

I have been trying this Q10 toner for quite some time since my Daiso shopping last month.

It does smells like the Q10 ampoule I used.
So far, it hasn't caused any sensitivity, except that it stings a little when my skin was peeling the last few days.
It hydrates the face, and believe me, I don't feel much difference as compared to other toners.
Meaning: I think it is not inferior to other normal brands.

Cost: $2
Bought from: Daiso @IMM

I will give it a 5.5/10.
Not bcos it ain't any good. Just that I'm expecting a product that stands out among the rest.
However, this is definitely the BEST at its price.

12 February 2011

OPI: Serena

Katy Perry's collection went crazily out of stock ever since it's launched.
Hence, I settled for this series instead as the Black Shatter is the same exact one.
And I got another color with it.
Each bottle only $11!
I got them from Esprit, here.

Can't wait to paint my nails next week! ;-)

Aloe Face Scrub

Tried out more than 5 times with this Aloe Facial Scrub from Daiso ($2).

The exfoliating beads aren't too coarse & after using, my face was rid of the gritty-bumpy feeling I had.

Exfoliate well? Yes, I suppose.
Is it drying for the skin? Unless I use it everyday.
Texture? Average. Mild.
Smell? No issue for me.
Worth the value? Definitely.

Don't know if it's just my habit or what...
I gotta use 2 different kind of exfoliator: exfoliating gel (marvel gel) & a physical scrub (with micro-beads).
marvel gel: daily use. remove dead skin without drying the skin at all.
scrub: when i have bumps & feel that my face needed to be sand-papered.

Collagen Hand Cream from Daiso

Have finished up this tube of Collagen Hand Cream from Daiso at just $2 quite some time ago.

I think there's quite a number of products we can try out from Daiso.

This particular tube was meant for my bedtime moisturizing.
The smell is fine. Goes on easily.

I give it a 7.5/10.

And because it's so cheap, I use it for my legs & feet too.
Together with the Grapeseed cuticle oil (photo here), it seems that
I didn't need to trim my cuticle as much as before.

Anyway, no harm trying since it's $2 only.
I got this tube more than a year ago at Vivo City's outlet.
