Dinner at Zhou's Kitchen

Thanks to Joey's recommendation that we get to eat so much food at one shot!

We went to the Far East Square outlet (Raffles).
As my farewell dinner, as angie's post birthday dinner, Lou-Hei...
we have all the reasons to celebrate!

We had the ala-carte buffet, eat all we like!

*food photos too many missing as I was too busy eating. ;-p

Van, Me, Angie & Joey.
The place was so packed that I didn't manage to run around the whole table to take more photos.

Our Yu-Sheng!

Coffee Ribs.
So-so only cos we find the coffee taste too strong & sweet.
However, if I chew fast enough so the taste won't linger too long on the toungue, it's actually alright.

Chilli Crab with crispy golden buns.

Crabs only maximum 1 set per table.

They love this stir-fried eggplant dish so much that they ordered a total of 2-3 plates.

Prawns in herbal soup.
Every last drop was devoured.

Pekking duck, which Joey very helpfully wrapped for all of us ;-)

I figured the total amount of food we consumed were at least another 4 tables of this.

Faith serving the girls fried noodles. Very professional! ;-p

How Yuin digging into the 3rd plate of fried assorted mushrooms joyfully.

And she's also the champion for the food/dessert marathon!

Hope the ladies enjoyed the dinner as much as I did.
cya soon!

LD's buffet dinner at Bosses' house

It's friday. Also my last friday at LD.

Theme: "CROPPED"

Hence, many of us refrain from wearing anything that's full length.

The always smiley Xiao Lan & me.

With Claire.

Swee Lee is looking good. She was wearing black lacey bubble shorts with tights.

My head looks so big beside Van. ;-S

With Angie, my disturbing kaki.

So sweet of Angie to blend this essential oil for me.
My farewell present ;-)

And it's for....
Hmmm... it works for stomach discomfort too.
Something I will need.
Thanks Angie!

All of us successfully knocked off by 6.15pm & headed to Isaac's & Vivien's house
where a buffet spread awaits.

Miss HuiHui pouring wine for the already getting-red ones.

Kong Bak Pau.
I don't usually fancy pork. But i must admit this is nice!

And of cos, how can I NOT drink.
Baileys & beer as appetitizer.
(After that I drank so many different alcohol that I didn't even wanna take anymore photos)

Liwei. The naughty little girl who broke the wine glass
& gave me a surprise treat in my plate of food:
A piece of broken glass.

Shirley, who after that went gila with too much drinks.

2 vain ones with Isaac busy opening bottle after bottle.

It has been a great gathering & bonding session.

Definition of bonding for the men: Drink, smoke & gamble.
Definition of bonding for the ladies: Chit-chat & chit-chat & perhaps a lil gossiping.
Definition of bonding for ME: drink drink drink.

CNY 2011 (3rd day): We went free & easy

2nd day of CNY was spent at home eating & napping & surfing net.

Felt & still feeling super lazy!

It's an outdoor day, hence, I decided on soft, warm tone makeup.
This Pupa eyeshadow palette's cuteness was the reason why i bought it.
(oh no, I think it's been quite a long time. time to throw away soon)

when the frog prince kisses my eyes.....
with matte white, yellow-gold & brown.

My laidback outfit!
(Not totally meant for cny, but for the destination instead. i was imagining crowds & me perspiring.)
A black sleeveless top, cropped studded harem pants & black ankle-length boots.

And my trio-skulls ring to rock the outfit.

Aiya! Forgot about the hairclip!

Time to head to Marina Square!

I was so hungry that I ordered plates after plates!

HAHAHAHA!!!

Mr Curry (Waraku) @ Marina Sq, Center Stage.

The double stack of honey toast looks nice! They named it EARTHQUAKE.

The Indian Manager was so attitude! Came to our table to take our orders but looked at elsewhere instead while we stared at her for 10seconds.

As I looked at the company's motto framed up on the wall, I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw a fierce-looking guy(maybe chef) walking past holding some take-away but looked like he's heading for some gang fight, waitress who picked at her nose & next served a sundae & the staff in slippers.

The Monster @ Mr Curry.

Clam Chower Soup.
Generous clams, potatoes & carrots.
If only they served this 1st instead of my main course.

Asparagus with bacon & butter.
If only this could come b4 the main course as well.

Hokkai Ramen.
The soup was heavily drugged with miso & seems-like-diluted curry.
This is actually the signature/chef's recommendation.

Pork Ramen.
Over-size fatty pork which Ms Sim likes, but couldn't finish anyway.

After the unsatisfying dinner, we proceeded to the cashier (indian Female manager again).
As I handed her my card, she annnounced loudly in a machiam I-owe-her kinda tone:
"We don't have card promo ah."

Eh ah-pun-neh-neh! Fine la, need to act like the boss meh?
or are you tring to kill the boss' business?

wokie neber mind...
I picked up a namecard on the cashier counter, thinking that I could perhaps email/call the boss & let him know about the service attitude of his manager.....

Ms Sim told me to just forget about it after she saw this card.

;-S

my already sleepy eyes.

Caught the local production "HomeComing" which is really funny & we went to River Angbao.

Disappointing.

I think they can do better.

And WITHOUT the Singapore Pools BETTING BOOTH.

CNY 2011 (Part 3: The Parents & Sisters)

Here's my Dad. Happily winning our $$$ & chuckling to himself.

He has got very very good luck until Mum came & won his $ away.

My never-admit-old Mum.

Dress to look like the Da-Jie instead.

Yeah, I edited the big black specs in cos I think it really suits you in this outfit.

The over-grown & the malnutritioned.

Do-Re-Mi according to age.
Mi-Re-Do according to size/build.

The red rabbit girl 1st time letting me apply some eyeshadows & tt tiny bit of eyeliner which is helped made soft by smudging with the purple eyeshadow.

I am infatuated with bugs'teeth.

Ang Baos! Here we come!
