DIY Facial

It's raining again!
What could be the best thing to do with this kinda weather?

I was getting sleepy, but I didn't want to sleep.
Hence, I decided to do my own mini facial & try out that new Lioele Blackhead Clear Lotion!

I got this Lioele Blackhead Clear 200ml from Lush Beauty at just $9! (Original price: $30)

I will not be rating this product since it's only my first try. Instead I will just share with you(for those who don't know this product) how to use it. ;-)

How to use:

1) Cleanse your face.

2) Put a steamed towel over the face/parts that you want to remove the blackheads to "öpen" up the pores.
I didn't exactly steam the towel. I soaked it in lukewarm-hot water.
Of cos, pls don't force yourself if it's too hot!
For those who preferred to do this after a hot shower, it works fine too!

3) Pump a decent amount of the Blackhead Clear Lotion onto a cotton pad like photo below & leave it on the area, eg. the nose, for approximately 15-20mins.
It will supposingly soften the dead skin cells & sebum.

4) Lightly do an extraction. (I'm referring to myself)
darn, i hate this part!

5) Tone & put a mask on for 15-20mins!
I'm using LUS Tomato Essence Mask ($0.60 from Lush Beauty).
I did a light tapping motion on the face & eyes with the mask on to aid blood circulation & also for relaxation.
Massage the excess essence into the neck area.
For me, the mask was so moist that I rubbed the essence onto my hands, legs & even shoulders too(an area that I always miss out moisturizing)

(psst! I like the LUS Red Ginseng Mask too!!)

After I removed the mask, I continued doing lympathic drainage/massaging the leftover essence on the face for a good 2-3mins until it's fully absorbed and at the same time lifting & firming the face more.

That's it!
A home DIY mini maintenance facial only cost me less than $1!

I usually go to beauty salons only when I need that shoulder massage & to clean up the face thoroughly.

Hope this has been useful to you & enjoy DIY-ing!
