My Hair Never Fail To Frustrate Me

For those who has known me for years & years,
you would know/heard about the complaints I have about my hair.

This is the most recent me with little, curly hair. ;-(

I was born with curly hair which I hated to the max, cos it never curl nicely the way I hope it would.
And it is way too little... so little that even when it's long, I can only feel them in a pathetic skinny malnutritioned ponytail.
And it gets greasy in less than half a day after wash.

Every AUNTIE I met would tell me how they love my hair, save the hassle of going for perms.
But I was still a kid back then! Which kid would want their hair or hairstyle to be liked by aunties?!?

Anyway, forget the curly issue, I know I cant blame my hair for being curly, and the MOST curly in the family.

I remembered when I was in primary school, there was a period of time I used the wrong shampoo.
It gave me months of disgusting dandruff!!

Try imagine! Greasy, curly hair with dandruff!

I was so embarrassed that I dreaded going to school.

In secondary school. there was once I scared my poor Dad out of his wits when I was making my way to the bathroom, and him, the way back.
He had minor heart problems that time.
My hair was so horrifyingly unkempt that he thought he had seen a ghost!

After that incident, I pulled my hair into a ponytail to sleep every night & day (if I'm going to school), which actually aggravated my hair growth.

10 years ago, when I got to know about rebonding treatment, I thought this was the best invention ever.
I could have straight, neat & beautiful hair!

I was wrong!
Constant rebonding & coloring damaged my hair!!

I had longer hair that time, but because of the dunno-how-many-times of rebonding,
it "exploded". Hence, I was forced to cut it as short as possible to avoid looking like some lousy quality broomstick with frizzy ends.

Then, when I finally grow it out, I spoilt it the 2nd time by foolishly bleaching it.
The volume you see here ain't because I have a lot of hair! Curly hair just tend to look big!

Once again I cut it off again to save myself from the tangles!

However, the damage doesn't stop at here.
It seem to be like some virus creeping its way up.

And nearing the end of 2010, I cropped it off again.

On days when I didn't manage to blow-dry & style my hair at least considerably-presentable, I will don my cap instead even though wearing a cap is so hot at times!

I want to go to work every day with healthy gorgeous hair!

When I told my friend I want to have long, luscious & sexy hair, there was a note of silence.
Seriously, even I myself don't know how possible can it be.

Never give up! I will make sure I find that right miracle for my hair!
