Beauty Spa: Fresver Beauty

I've been wanting to tell you guys more about Fresver Beauty, the beauty spa where I signed my facial & massage package at.

It has been almost 3 years being a customer there.

I can say that I've gotten myself an extremely great deal the 1st time I signed up a package with them. No, make that 2. Yes, 2 packages!

A customized facial & massage package.

(photo extracted from googling for fresver images)

I've always been a massage lover! Seriously, I much fancy massage over facial because of the painful extraction & nose-running situations! I'm sure many would understand what i mean. ;-)

The reasons I signed up with Fresver:
  • One of its branches is located at Tampines Telepark, 8mins of walking distance from my home.
(via google)
  • I can avoid myself being seen in town areas after facials with hair flat & wet & without makeup. (Of cos I can choose to put on some light makeup after the facial, borrow their hair dryer, if they have & prim myself. But, I'm a fuss-free person. The most important thing is: I like to let my face "breathe".)
  • The spa is not huge. ( I tend to feel intimidated by big spas.)
  • The initial packages was really cheap.
Then, you will be asking HOW CHEAP did I really got it for?
The customized facial package of 10 sessions: Less than $200.
I can't exactly remember how much, but I remember on that day itself I did a calculation and each session only cost me approximately $17.

The massage package was purchased in 3 sessions which cost $100++.

The price is so cheap but the treatments feel nothing like some cheapo service!

Trust me, I walked out of the place grinning like this.

However, the sad thing is, they no longer have this promotion! Well, I can understand.
It was simply DIRT CHEAP!

Let me tell bring you through the steps included in my facial treatment (if i'm not being persuaded to top up for additional services):
1) A welcome rub.
Using some aromatic oil, the therapist gently gives a light head & shoulder rub. This is enchanting!
Makes me feel super sleepy every time.
2) Cleansing & exfoliating.
3) Skin Consultation.
This is the part whereby the beauty consultant comes in to start her sales talk.
Erm, beauty advice i mean.
4) Steam.
To open up the pores. The steamer is actually an older way to do it.
The technology has already came up with exfoliating agents that can be left on the face while they do their jobs of softening the dead skin cells.
5) Extraction.
I just hate this part. But no choice, gotta remove those dirty fellows that'are clogging up the pores!
6) Toning & High Frequency.
Using the hand held ozone machine that kills the bacteria after the extraction. Minimises breakouts & inflammation.
7) Face Massage.
I really enjoy this part too as I constantly frown or feel tension in my face even when i'm sleeping.
8) Mask.
It's usually those creme/gel masks when I didn't pay more for the better ones.
9) Shoulder, Hands & Legs Massage.
I totally love this! They know that the customer's body aches from lying down for too long, that's why they will '"sayang" the customer.
Been to some other places but they don't usually give hands/legs a short massage. Sometimes they don't even have shoulder massage!

A simple facial treatment, yet they are good at making people feel so comfortable & coming back for more despite the prices.

The only minus point is that the (sales)beauty consultants are quite aggressive
in pushing the services & packages.
They are still very friendly, but in a scary type to me cos I feel like I have to push them off & explaining myself dry before I can walk out of there not damaging my wallet badly.

The most expensive thing I ever spent there is a 1x Stem-cell therapy which is infused into my usual facial treatment for smoother, brighter & radiant skin.
It freaking cost me $200++!!

The new massage package I signed up cost me $700++ for 10 sessions of 1 hour each.
This is still fine, though I can get much cheaper ones.
The masseur is good!

They are always so packed that I'll be lucky if I can even book an appointment 2 weeks in advance. Usually, I will have to book 1 month in advance to secure the timing I like.
