Am trying to relate the cabbie incident, but my hand keep clicking onto blogshops & my eyes keep getting glued browsing/shopping online!!
Every sentence i type here, I'll go back to "window-shopping" for like 10mins....
And then I saw some nice bags & begin some silent screaming... Ahhhhh......
No No NO, I am not going to purchase anything. Not today.
See see look look some more... *tugging & twisting my hair around fingers*
More screaming. Mouse going mad with the scrolling. -crrr crrrr crrrrr-
rarrr! close the window. that's it! no more browsing. the pocket wouldn't like it.

Back to topic:
was waiting for a cab this morning to go to work (lugging 2 cushions along), praying for a cab to come asap as I was running late.
God answered my prayer. A 'WHITE' cab came... :-( $$$$$ ~~~
Me: Hi. Defu Lane please.
Cabbie (looking very professional & well-mannered): Defu Lane....??
Me: Yes. DEFU LANE 9. Go by Old Tampines Road.
Cabbie (Turning out from T.M taxi stand. 1-Way to the left): (Pointing to the right) Go by there correct?
Me (Staring at the 1-Way sign): Erm, turn left.
And then, I felt stupid & guilty cos the cabbie should have known it's a 1-way since he drives and I don't. But the fact is he doesn't know. I did not know why did he point to the opposite direction!
Maybe it's just a mistake. Things will be better. (I thought to myself)
At a junction, cabbie started to lean to the right lane.
Me: Turn left here please.
Cabbie immediately switched lane & turn left.
I was looking left & right & behind to see if there's gonna be any accident for this sudden switch. >_< \|
*pHew! I'm safe.*
Cabbie drove on for quite a while.
Few hiccups but still the same "left/right/straight" from me.
Nearing a junction at Defu Ave....
Cabbie: In front here turn left or go straight then turn left?
(Thinking to myself: "Hello! In front go straight then turn already Lor Ah Soo or Kovan liao la!")
Me: In front here turn left.
please don't ask me more ...... questions.
Cabbie: So left or right??
Me: LEFT.
X_X
He attempted to turn right when I told him to go all the way straight in.
By the time I reached my office, I was already feeling very tired.
I do not think I'm too soft-spoken. Perhaps he just wanna make sure. very sure. But too much of that making sure drives me NUTS.
Still, I almost gave myself a pat on the shoulder cos I think I have been patient enough.
