Dinner at PuTien (莆田)

Had dinner last night with SY & GH at 莆田(Putien), Tampines Mall B1.

My 1st time there, thanks to GH's treat. xD

This is really one restaurant I would go for again cos they have healthy choices of food.

And I simply love food that are not overly-flavoured.

This is the white Pu Tien Lu Mian that SY highly recommended. 

Seriously I have no idea that this kind of white lor mee can actually taste so nice!

The fragrance of the seafood in that are just nicely brought out.

(i think GH himself had 3-4 bowls)

On the left: Cabbage with tofu soup. It's served in a black pot in the back of the photo. Enough to serve 3-4 pax. I totally love this soup & even had a 2nd helping. Even though I do not usually fancy soups with milk/cream added, this soup served at Pu Tien definitely changed my view.

On the right: our appetiser, intestines. Well, i dunno how to make it sound nicer.

But we were wondering what makes the 肠 (intestines) so Q & full.

It's actually stuffed with some kind of meat which we couldn't figure out what was it.

Fried Yam Duck with their own sweet sauce.

I personally didn't like yam stuff, but this is really well done.

I dipped it in their own chilli sauce & it's delicious!

seriously, my new hair only looks better when i don't wear my specs ;-S

it looks so washed out in this pic.

Now I'm kinda craving for the cabbage tofu soup! *drools thinking of it*
