Expired Excitement

expiry of a much anticipated enthusiasm is just like a piece of biscuit that has been lying out in the open for too long. totally tasteless, no crispiness, no flavor.

was given a nice surprise in january. that is an unexpected singapore flyer ride.
yes yes... it's big since i did not expect something like that frm her. we have 4 tickets, 2 friends were joining us.
BUT! we did not manage to experience it cos someone, one of her friend, last min backed off.
no choice i had to go along with it. and to think that the flyer ride is significantly for me, but all these while my opinions were unsaid, unheard.

it's nt a big deal really, the flyer thing and all. what existed beneath that, i think maybe even she herself wont be able to see it.

5 months down the road, there i was always mustering energy and the lack of enthusiasm to suggest going whenever we are both free, right timing, and even nearby the area. Every time, there bound to be something halting her.

Not too long back, she told me let's wait for her friends to go, but always no chance due to different schedules, and most of all, her incredibly irregular work timing.

I just don't understand why i am the one who has to wait for everyone else? even when it's meant as a surprise to ME not others?!

It just killed all my mood. Even though I already had myself prepared that we wont be going tomorrow, disappointment still kicked in.
I have a strong feeling that the tickets will expire and just go to waste.

i should have went with colleagues the other day then.
