Was in IBS from 11.30am till 6.45pm doing my administrative work for the new shop.
abit slow using the com to do work cos i am not an office person! hahaha, fortunately i still managed, and the format i came up with was being used.
Lunch was great! I love home-cooked meals!! Principal specially cooked minced meat porridge(with lotsa veg & squid), stewed chicken with mushrooms(i happen to love mushrooms too!) & a huge portion of hainanese veg. So healthy & tasty!
ms sim finished her work & came over to meet me after 7pm. we headed to Ehub! had wanted to bring her to Nihon Mura for japanese buffet since few days back. finally fulfilled it today. and we were simply famished. poor ms sim starved herself the whole day.... actually think she wanna 'jian fei'.... lol
upon reaching the table, we straight away order the buffet items from the menu, no hassle! the staff there were really attentive. After the order has been made, I almost dashed to the conveyor belt to help myself to sushi. was so unusual of me cos i normally wil tk my own sweet time. the system they run there is quite different from other places.
the "sticks"(food codes) were only for ala-carte items. u dun exactly have a menu to look at, u wil "window-shop" for ur cravings & just pass the "sticks" to the food counter den they wil deliver it to u. cool huh!
the table for 4 that the 2 of us were seated, were placed full of plates of piping, yummylicious food! like a feast! there were assorted sashimis which were really fresh. fried tofu is so crispy on the outside, i so adore it! u guys should try their ebi tempura too! absolutely marvellous! there were this salmon belly soup that i ordered that has a very soothing taste. well, i mean it's not too salty for my taste & there are so much veg & salmon belly inside. it's a big pot! if im not having buffet, i would have gotten pretty full from just that!
we had various diff types so end up after i've gotten full, i was jus tryin my best to finish up as much as possible. Hehe.
However, i stil save a bit of space for the desserts. we can have unlimited helpings of the small pcs of cakes, puddings & fruits. so i had a cheesecake & a slice of papaya. was kinda surprised that the cheesecake didn't make me feel like puking even though my stomach was like going to explode. Ha!
Had a scoop of mango ice cream too. Ms sim had the green tea one. they were pretty! topped with a lil' whip cream if im not wrong, some nuts & a cute tiny oreo biscuit on it. i would recommend the mango flavour if u like a slight sourish taste. it's awakening to the senses...
we walked out of Nihon Mura feeling satisfied & happy.
caught the movie show "Obsessed", worth watching....
(ps: definitely lisa is the craziest bitch, not me! ;p)
